MARHABAN team is coming...
I am not a member .. howver, every year.. raya time my neighbourhood will make a deal to go one by one to muslim's house around the "taman"... so its my "lorong"'s turn... since its so many houses to cover in a night.. we only need to give goodies ( not compulsory) , a titbits and angpows for the guests....
so, my husband not so much of candies... and i think it (CANDY)will be a usual items when comes to goodies... so again... FANCY COOKIES...!!!! this time around i tried a different technique following this blog..
then i wrapped them in a plastic in twos...
emmm at the end of the gathering....
ooo by the way.. check out the bow .. hehheh

Trifle... first timer
MY 8TH kek kukus this raya month!!
so easy with no fussy ingredients... i even da hafal da bahan without looking at the recipe da.. hehehe
i got the recipe from my cousin who got from her cousin who got from the internet... so sharing sharing la kira kan...
bAHAN BAHAN dan cara NYE...
1 cawan gula
1 biji telur
---> putar sampai kembang
1 cawan minyak masak
1 cawan susu pekat
1 sudu besar nescafe
--> kasi putar lagi...sementara tu ayak
2 cawan tepung
1 sudu teh baking powder
1 cawan serbuk koko
--> campur sikit2.. pastu campur
1 cawan air panas..
semenatara kacau kacau tadi.. periuk kukusan da siap panas da tau.. acuan pun da siap di alas kertas minyak..
pastu letak atas kukusan.. ( jangan lupa tutup ngan kain tutup kukusan) kukus 1 jam..
da siap tunggu sejuk baru cairkan coklat cooking + butter sikit.. curah atas kek.. hias sepuasnya..
100 PCS MUFFINS... to hostel
My first son requested 100 pcs muffins to bring to his school for raya gathering... so layan jer laaa...

RAYA GATHERING AT SCHOOL
I am eager to try out this Paper Flower.. and it is so simple.. i may want to shop some more colored paper ( of course la kan from MYDIN.. heheh) to try out variety of combinations...
since it is still in raya month.. my sons are having gathering " makan-makan" since i purposely not letting any kuih raya left ( saje hantar semua kuih ke rumah my mom and mother-in-law) why?? pasal to control my self from eating n eating n eating...
so for this gathering i just baked the simple KEK KUKUS COKLAT.. which are my sons favourite...
tapi kan.. bila da addicted to sewing ( i think).. so i ended up sewing this 10 minutes pouches for the plastic cake container to fit in..
just a simple pouch ( with bigger version la) ..ada drawstring.. and ada handles... ada bunga juga .. eheheheh
ZEBRA OR TIGER striped...
This fabric was meant for my daughter's plushies kitty... but since raya mood still in me.. so i turned out the fabric into pillowcase.. to match the striped.. i tried a new techniques to make simple fabric flower
just a normal pocket pillowcase.. no zipper n no velcro.. just to change the mood in our living room
(almaklum la kan.. x tukar sofa raya ni).. tengok tutorial nie.. mmg senang..
HERE some more ideas on pillows...
to be more "ceria"..(ceria ke??? ) i made this too..
Dishtowel or napkin that stay put..
I am going to stop my "exercise"( putting back the dishtowel from the floor to its place thousands times) by doing this band to hold the dishtowel... at least it takes a few moment for my daughter to figure out how to pull down that thing again..
just a simple band with velcro closure and my favourite fabric flower ( to imitate sunflower la konon) to lighten the mood...:D

My husband's request for raya...
Well, my husband requested ( perhaps he just wanted to give challenge to my "new skill" and new hobby) lagipun i still have no guts to sew him a baju melayu.. not yet... maybe next year...so he requested for our dining chairs to be "wrapped".. since they are too long naked... so ...

tapi i try with "belacu" fabric.. since it is off white color.. and easy to handle...
... tapi .. my hubby siap cakap.. da macam kat kedai makan la pulak.. hehehe
.. takpe la lepas ni da ada pattern and experience nie.. later leh guna fabric mahal sikit and ada pattern sikit...
beraya dengan bergaya la my dining chairs tahun nie... :D
