Baby elephant in the house
selepas saya mencuba membuat gajah sicomel ni dulu ( link ke cerita kisah lalu)
ada kawan lama yang berkenan dengan si gajah comel ni..
dorang tengok kat fb saya..
kebetulan pulak la dorang ni baru lepas bersalin.. nak order..
so saya siapkan la..
4 terus.. walaupun yang mengorder hanya 2 je..
saje nak kasi banyak pilihan sikit.

Gajah lembut / elephant softie / Elephant softoys
hehehe kelakar pulak gelar gajah lembut
comel pulak kan??
actually ni first attempt nak buat softie bentuk elephant ni..
biasalah dapat tutorial dari cik google kita..
cuma tak kenan tang belalai.. da mcm iras2 tanduk badak sumbu pulak
so kita buat la version lain
dengan bantuan en hubby kita.. kita improvised tang belalai
kendian cuba jugak la pattern lain yang ada dalam pilihan cik google
actually nak buat hadiah untuk cucu jiran sebalah yang menyambut harijadi setahun malam tadi..
so fikir2.. rasa mcm sesuai je nak bagi ni
kita bagi yang 2nd n 3rd..
yang first .. biasalah buat pujaan hatiku kat rumah ni
da siap bungkus.. masuk dalam paperbag kebetulan jumpa kat Mr DIY RM2.50
kita selitkan sekali sepasang baju persalinan
ok la kan... alhamdulilah..
kalau ada masa nanti kita nak buat yang besar sikit..
dan juga sama.. en suami gak tolong besarkan pattern..
so sebelum kita potong keping by keping .. kita snap pic dulu..
emm comel pulak la cik molek si gajah ni kan..

MY 4TH SON's BIRTHDAY TODAY!!!
today he is a good anf big 6 year old boy...
i made the oreo lollipop with edible images and flushies with doremon face.. however the birthday cakes both are custom made by Sweet Umi Bakery..
2 cakes for one celebrate at school and the other one at home..
and i ended with 2 different colors for plushies ( blue for doraemon and yellow for dorami) and all faces are the same.. why?? because...
the truth was... i am out of blue fabric... (kamdar's out of stock)...

BUNNY in the process
Pastu jumpa tutorial yang ni pulak... ok gak senang..cuba yang biru tu.. hasil jadik cam bola pin bowling la pulak... so scale kasi kembang sikit tang bawah dia.. emmm not bad, kan...
yang tang ekor dia tu , buat pompom ngan yarn... sonang jer.. tapi just in case kok terlupa later.. leh tengok kat tutorial nie.. tapi tak la ikut sangat.. saya guna style gulung2 dalam 30 belit pastu ikat ketat2 kat bah tengah.. potong.. kasi tembang2 sikit...
tapikan,,, my son nak kek spongebob... rasa cam x ngam la pulak kek spongebob dengan party favor bunny... emmmm. kena consider lagi ni sebelum buat mass production bunny nie...

MY special friend daughter's first birthday...
I know i couldnt make it to her party... but i know that my gift can be there even i m not...
so i made her an apron + bib which i adores sooooo much.. i made two.. .one for my daughter and the other one for Anis....
i also made her a doll...
i hope she likes it...
i put them ( apron + doll ) in a pouch drawstring which was made from same matching fabric (opsss i forgot to snap a photo of the pouch... :( ... )
oo well i can simply make one more if i need too...

WHAT YOU DO WHEN YOU RAN OUT OF THREAD???
OOO my... what you should do when you are out of matching thread for your WIP .. and you are too lazy to go out ???
emmmm...
1. TAKE A BREAK?.. no no.. or else the WIP turn out to be MIA
2. CONTINUE SEWING WITH OTHER THREAD??.. O..M..G...are you nuts... cikgu marah nanti..
3. ADOPT A KITTEN?? whatt!!!!!..emmm ok.. not a bad idea...:D
ooowwww doesn't she look cute and adorable.... *cair jiwa dan raga*
ok la adopt one more...
uhuhuh tak rugi... tak rugi... try this POINTY KITTY PLUSHIES and all your addicted to sewing melted..

MY DAUGHTER'S FRIEND'S FRIEND

Even though it took 2 days to complete the 2nd doll...but it was not the entire 2 days... in between i managed to make my pincushions done... altered my 1st son's pants... then i finished touched up the lips... spend time hours just to get the hair right...
frankly, i admired the 2nd doll better.... probably with the wider face makes the face sweeter.. perhaps...
emmm and i also plus the joints at ankles and arms... and make them shorter than the first doll.
with the black eyes and white thread make the eyes glow... dont u think so??
and the skin is a little bit tanned... but still sweet jer kan??
well maybe next i will try to find the "fairer" fabric .. or maybe a boy doll, huh??

MY DAUGHTER'S FRIEND IS IN THE MAKING....

Trying to search hi and low for my daughter's doll... which need to be soft, save from toxic and easy to clean... and most important is cheap... so... as usual... searching.... searching in the market... n in the net... so, i get this simple and easy tutorial...
and.... i have a courage to turn.... once a baby pillow ...
even though still in the process of making the face... somebody already took charge...
... finally a smile on this cute chubby face....
