BASKET PINCUSHIONS
Dont you think they are cute?? just like a basket of flowers...
i made those within..emmm ...10 minutes... it's so easy..
the basket were hanging around.. dont know what to do with them.
( which i get those from someone's wedding .. it's a doorgift.. it was made from recylce newspapers, aren't they creative??)
while i was doing this, i kept thinking about my mother's habit who likes to put needles / pins between her lips.. (kemam yeh??!!) so i gave both to her...

MY RIBBONs STORAGE
Who will ever guess... by toiletries bag will be my ribbons storage???
i got this idea from one of the "you tube" tutorials.. i watched before... sorry i forgot to link them up..
anyway... since my ribbons need their room.. so i sacrificed my cosmetic cum toiletries cum make up bag into ribbons bag.. it was a hard decision.. however, since the bag has been kept toooo long.. n seldom use due to "sayang nyeee nak guna.." so.. why not kan??
not so much of the ribbons... but the ideas of every little n tiny ribbons that i own are in one place.. that's really make my day... i m happy.. n satisfied...
i think my ribbons also contented...n comfortable being together. don't u think so??? :D

Even though it took 2 days to complete the 2nd doll...but it was not the entire 2 days... in between i managed to make my pincushions done... altered my 1st son's pants... then i finished touched up the lips... spend time hours just to get the hair right...
frankly, i admired the 2nd doll better.... probably with the wider face makes the face sweeter.. perhaps...
emmm and i also plus the joints at ankles and arms... and make them shorter than the first doll.
with the black eyes and white thread make the eyes glow... dont u think so??
and the skin is a little bit tanned... but still sweet jer kan??
well maybe next i will try to find the "fairer" fabric .. or maybe a boy doll, huh??

Trying to search hi and low for my daughter's doll... which need to be soft, save from toxic and easy to clean... and most important is cheap... so... as usual... searching.... searching in the market... n in the net... so, i get this simple and easy tutorial...
and.... i have a courage to turn.... once a baby pillow ...
even though still in the process of making the face... somebody already took charge...
... finally a smile on this cute chubby face....

WALLET FOR MY BOY
16 MAY 2011 - Finished but too shameful to show to anybody even to my son due to untidy thread and not neat enough.
17 MAY 2011 - Anyhow , My son still 'discovered" the wallet and insisted to bring to his school the next day. In fact i m so touched when he even took the wallet with him while he was asleep that night... oooooo mmmmm i promised him i will do the better version for him...
18 MAY 2011 - Teacher's day celebration at his school , so no need to wear uniform... so he was so eager to fancy his wallet..
I got the idea from this tutorial from Noodlehead but i followed Mud Puddles & Daisy's tutorial. both are so helpful...and the idea to use denim fabric was from Balancing Everything.
This was also my first time ever to use snap button.... ( maybe the eagerness to try those make me rushed things and ended up with untidy product... bad habit.. bad habit...:'( )

Alhamdulilah.. i managed to save RM5 today..
Sebelum ni aku selalu antar kat tailor jer bila zip seluar anak2 da tak leh guna... tapi arini rasa confident lak nak try buat sendiri... laaaaaaaaaaaaa tak la susah sangat eik??? patut la dorang charge RM5.. masa tu aku ingat da murah abis da tu... tapi bila da tahu.. ala.. zip berapa jer RM nye.. pastu takat nak retas balik n jahit emmm insyallah.. next time, boleh kot... heheheh sekarang da tahu antara nak atau tak nak aje...

Cuti Wesak Day.. as a full-time housewife mana ada makna cuti2 ni ..sama jer... tp ada extra time la.. tak yah jadik driver .. so byk masa stay kat rumah... pencil box pun da siap semua da alhamdulilah..
kemas2 la remnant yang ada.. tapi sayangnye nak buang.. terutama carik2 tu... sayang.. nak buat apa ya....???
? pastu pusing2 blog orang lain semua buat coasters.. cantik2.. buat alas gelas n cawan.. tapi takde maknanya kat rumah ni nak ber"coaster" bagai... tetiba tingat kat mak mertua dulu ada alas lesung batu, da kotor itam da... tapi mmg suka guna tak kelentung kelentung simen... so....
Yang ni takde tutorial... sendiri nye cara ... lagipun nak berlatih guna Mr Juki.. so hentam saja la babe... tapi memnag puas hati la... dan senag hati pasal tak yah buang remnant yang ada... yang carik giler cam serabai2 tu aku buang jer la...

BAJU KURUNG N BAJU MELAYU

Aku nak try buat baju melayu cekak musang... nak belajar kat ne?? memang ada kelas.. tapi anak dara aku breastfeed.. dan takmo kat orang.. emmmm carik kat internet la...
aku ada jumpa
1) nota percuma kat sini (macam2 ada kat sini .. camne nak buat pola leher,buat lubang leher,baju kurung pesak gantung) ..
2) tutorial jahit lubang butang pun ada kat sini..
3) kalu nak tengok lagi camne nak buat leher baju kurung cara tradisional.. ada kat sini
4) lagi... aku jumpa la kat sini walaupun gambo tak clear, tapi telah dapat "membuka mata" ku serba sedikit...
so aku buat reasearch lagi... tapi aku masuk dalam you tube... belajar omputih.. cara buat collar... (nanti da jump a balik aku link kat sini ya...)
5) pastu aku ada jumpa blog nie kata dia ada buku yang membantu dia.tapi aku tak jumpa lak buku tu online..
6) ada gak nota tah sekolah mana tah pasal "Collar" kat sini yg aku jumpa..
7) ooo sesape nak tengok camne nak buat Baju Kurung teluk belanga gi kat sini (ok gak penjelasan dia camne nak makan kain) makan???
akhirnya... sikit sana.. sikit sini... aku dapat gak siapkan baju melayu cekak musang aku...

TRY TO DO MY OWN LABEL..
My hubby kasi suggestion, untuk letak my own label... so emmm why not kan... baby step dulu aaa... so takmo la beli or tempah... lum lagi... lum balik modal... so terjumpa Tutorial camne nak buat label sendiri dan kat sini ada gak
keliling johor cari Iron On paper... lelama my hubby jumpa gak....tapi bukan HP.. CANON... boleh la.. first time, kan.. RM55 for 10 keping.. (mak aiiiii....) kena jimat cermat nie... tapi tersasul gak print satu page.. (lupa nak set paper type.. so dia print x terbalik..)
Da siap print tu, proses iron-iron-iron... ingat nak ikut cam dalam tutorial tu.. iron kat riben dulu.. tapi hubby kata.. iron kat kain terus la... eh... ok jugak kan...

TEACHER'S DAY 2011
April 2011 was a "crazy maniac pencil box" month for me...
apa tak nye... rasa da jahit about 50 ++ pencil boxes yg boxy nye...
measurement (ala lupa la nak ukur finished product) ok la da ukur da
panjang +-7.5"
tinggi +-3.5"
lebar +3.5"
ada kurang ada lebih aaa pasal orang "pakar" ala ber"baby" n beranak pinak nie..
besar eik?? tu la.. takpe aaa pasal fabric pun aku guna apa yang ade jer kat rumah nie.. remnant baju melayu, baju kurung n kain langsir.. kalau nipis sangat, aku lapis ngan interfacing.. zip guna brand "YKK" tu.. kalau g kedai dia kata "itu zip lelaki ka?" (masa first time dengar... dalam ati aku tertanya2.. eh zip pompuan cam ne yeh?) rupanya brand nie selalu digunakan untuk seluar lelaki... oooooo :)
yg bawah ni untuk my 2nd son n my 3rd son nye cikgu2 sekolah pagi ada 18 + 6 untuk sekolah petang
yg bawah ni my4th son nak bawak g Krista... pasal ada 2 cikgu tu aje yg ajar dia.. yg lain tak ajar... so, dua org jer dapat...
yg bawah ni pulak tuk my 1st son bawak g asrama.. lum siap 100%.. pasl lum letak tag... nasib gak la dia tak balik last weeekend.. takde outing katanya... total semua 18 .. so kena tambah lagi 2.. baru siap..
yang bawah nie pulak... mr hubby (dia nak jugakkkkk) leh promosi katanya... so aku buat 12 cukup la kan... ni pasal takde la Tecaher's Day kan... so just card biasa jer la selit kat dalam tu...
